They’re not the same thing. Not everyone on your roadmap is a goal either. Your initiatives can (and should be) tied to goals, but a roadmap is not a list of things to do, it’s a list of questions to ask. Goals/objectives (vision) -> initiatives (roadmap) -> ideas (backlog)
