I'd challenge the thinking a little bit that one product means you also just need one strategy.
A company's strategy has to be different than the product's strategy.
If your company goal is to make money, that can't be the product goal. The product goal has to be to provide value, to provide a great experience, to focus on usability to the user. Making money is a byproduct of that, of course. But your product has to above all focus on the user's need, while the company focus is on monetizing and expanding on that.
They feed into each other regardless of how many products one has (whether 1 or 100), so they will overlap to a certain extent, but you cannot simply have one.
Business = how do we make money?
Product = how do we provide the best experience?
